The Center for Cultural Community says Get Resourced!

Help us celebrate the launch of our Resource Library, read about our experience in the ArtSpace Immersion Cohort, take a look at photos from Summer Soulstice X, and learn about all the ways you can contribute to our mission.

Our Mission

The Center for Cultural Community builds and cultivates support for creative people.

We open avenues for assistance, provide access to knowledge,

and foster opportunities for connection.

The Resource Library is Here

Center for Cultural Community Resource Library menu

The Resource Library is a central project of the CCC. We collected a wealth of information, useful to our community of creative workers, about local organizations, opportunities, and assistance and made it publicly available on our website. Developed in direct response to the input we received from our service base, the Resource Library is a centralized source for knowledge and communication and an ever-evolving tool to democratize access in our artistic community.

Currently, the Resource Library exists as a static (though, consistently updated) list. We plan to take what is started here and build a more robust, dedicated platform with searchable topics, forums for discussion and collaboration, and easily navigable information pertinent to our creative community's needs.

We ask that you consider donating to help us expand

the Resource Library into the dynamic and innovative tool

that we know it will be.

Thank you, ArtSpace Immersion!

Center for Cultural Community in a Zoom box grid with ArtSpace Immersion Cohort

One year ago, we were so very fortunate to be selected to participate in the Artspace Immersion: The Rocks cohort alongside nine other local arts organizations doing exciting and inspiring work. We just finished the program and will be awarded a $5,000 stipend to help us grow. More details about that growth are forthcoming!

As described by their team, "Artspace Immersion is a cohort program designed to support organizations that are planning for a space-related project, by helping them navigate the real estate process. This free, 12-month program helps arts administrators strengthen their space planning and expand organizational capacity."

The connections we made, the stories we heard, and the knowledge we gained over these last 12 months will stay with us forever. Please take some time to check out what our friends are doing at these other remarkable organizations.

Center for Cultural Community and Quiet Contender record label event Summer Soulstice X

On Saturday, August 7th, 30 musicians, visual artists, and vendors worked with us to create a magical experience for our community. In partnership with the Quiet Contender record label, we helped grow their long-running Summer Soulstice music and art party into a festival that filled the Arkansas Repertory Theatre's Scene Shop warehouse with funk, soul, and rock n roll, with curiosity and communion, and with hope and excitement. We plan to work with our partners at Quiet Contender each year to bring an unusual and jubilant event to our community. Keep in touch to hear about next year's plans.

We want to give a very special thank you to our sponsors: David Austin, Realtor with The Charlotte John Co., Martin Eisele, Evergreen Acupuncture, Wes Howerton, Control Records, Jack Lofton, Mudroom Films, and Lost Forty Brewing. More information and merchandise can be found here.

Take a look at some of the photos from the event!
